WVRRC

understanding through education for the benefit of all living things.
To do this, we need your help. More...

Rehabilitation Why
are we needed? Most injuries to raptors result from collisions with cars
or buildings, entanglement in fences, illegal trapping, gunshot wounds
and exposure to poison or pesticides. (Click here
to learn what to do if you find an injured raptor.) Strict federal
laws carry stiff penalties to protect birds of prey and all migratory
birds from intentional harm by humans. More... Education The WVRRC's
dual mission also involves continuing environmental education programs
for the general public. Programming is available for all ages and any
group, organization, or school. Check out the biographies of our education
birds and other educational resources. More...
